Ryan Austin joined the SMG3Rx division in 2019 as an advisor for the clinical mobility portfolio, bringing with him 20 years of experience in the AIDC industry and in healthcare. With having attained degrees in Finance and Marketing from Marquette University and a Master’s Degree in Health Sector Management from DePaul University, Ryan’s AIDC career has encompassed focusing in numerous laboratory environments, large hospitals and health systems, and joining a start-up telehealth team within Hillrom’s “Welch Allyn” division.

Ryan’s passions lie within helping clients to enhance operational efficiencies, improve collaboration among the care team, mitigate risk, and reduce/eliminate preventable medical errors. He takes a consultative approach with his clients, understanding pain-points, workflows, and desired outcomes of a project first while identifying gaps and removing process bottlenecks along the way.
